Professional Biography

Peter Vanags has been involved in software architecture, human interface design, graphic design and programming for over 20 years. He has designed a broad range of software applications and user interfaces, including multimedia CD-ROM and educational products, Asian-language translation software, wireless messaging tools, network management applications, interactive television, 3D modeling and imaging tools, and dynamic data-driven web sites and applications.

His past consulting clients have included Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, AirTouch, The Smithsonian Institution, Symantec/Norton, Simon & Schuster, Paramount/Viacom, Northern Telecom, and Bank of America. He currently works as a software architect and programmer in a research & development group at PacketVideo, working on products that enable mobile phones to browse and stream audio and video.
